ORGANISATIONAL SESSIONS
This session will be focusing on a child's need to assimilate and accommodate their experiences.
We will provide activities that encourage a child to learn through their trial and errors, for example putting a puzzle together.
Every time they put down a puzzle piece they are creating a picture. I n order for them to see or visualise this picture they must perceive this in their minds so that they can to help bring the art together. This will take a lot of practise as they will need to find the correct pieces to put together.
So what they are doing is assimilating the correct shapes needed to put the puzzle together and they are also accommodating the picture to add a clear image so that they will know if they are making the right choices.
This can be achieved in many forms: composing music on a piano, sewing/ knitting a pattern and much more. We will provide many organisational activities for each child's cognitive, emotional, physical, social, and intellectual needs
