THE COURSE

We will teach you how to deliver various teaching styles to support differing needs and abilities.

We will touch on subjects such as cognitive development and different characteristics and personalities. And by the end of this workshop you will have a better understanding of what each child has to cope with on a daily basis in order to survive and support their family.

The Karmah Kids Activities program consists of 3 parts: Meditational, Organisational and Repetitive sessions. Volunteers must complete this 6 week course which lasts for 2 hours once a week.

We do provide half term intense workshops; contact us for more info. For the child protection and first aid courses you must be prepare to study from 10am-3.00pm on both of the days required

KARMAH VOICE MENTOR ROLES

Each mentor will help create a safe, fun, educational and calm setting.
This will be achieved by supporting, guiding and understanding each child's individual emotions, fears and physical needs.

You will provide one to one support with homework.
You can help assist qualified staff to collect children from school and also with home runs but this will be optional.
Karmah kids have clear targets that we will aim to meet; this will be achieved in a motivational, fun and stimulating setting
